Etsy and our wedding

I tried to be very conscientious when we were picking our vendors for our wedding. I wanted them to be a small business and/or local when possible.

This was easy enough with our venue, cake, hair and makeup, my dress was from a local shop (even though the designer is Australian), and even our favours were mini jars of jam from Tiptree (also local to us). For other aspects of our wedding day, I turned to Etsy for inspiration.

Decoration
We had an incredible Mr and Mrs Taylor wire sign that went on our table during the ceremony from TheLetterLoftUK. It’s on our living room wall now, but I have seen recently they are moving towards more sustainable production and are looking at using dried flowers going forward.
Another item that is now hanging in our living room is our Harry Potter ‘the wedding’ sign from BananaBookfolds.
I created our signs with acrylic sheets, this included table names and menus. I purchased the stands for these signs as well as the acrylic for our place names from WeddingLuxShop.
Another DIY was personalising our guestbook frame, I added the Sunflowers Poster from MyEverygreenPlace to add to this.

Stationery
Our save the dates, invites, and thank you cards that we sent after our wedding day were not from Etsy, however on the day we gave thank you cards to parents/bridesmaid/best man etc as well as suppliers, these were from SarahBurnsPrints and paperwillowdesign.
For the ceremony, I purchased His and Her vow notebooks from TarasWonderland, plus notebooks for two of my friends who did a reading from us from AliSunflowersUk.
Another ceremony purchase was our personalised Disney ring box from SJandMarmalade.

Gifts
Thank you gifts were purchased from a number of places such as The Bloom Boutique, Amazon, Katie Loxton, and Etsy.
For my dad I bought him some Father of the Bride cufflinks from FromWillow.
Also for him, plus my husband and the best man, I bought them Personalised Tie Clips from GoldcrestDesignsUK.
We bought one of our witnesses a Parker Pen set from PersonalisedGADGETS.
Part of my wedding gift to my husband was a personalised pocketwatch for my husband from EngravedInTime.
Finally, from ByOllyandCo (I wish I had shares!) I bought: For my mum and sister (bridesmaid) personalised slippers and robes. For the best man, a hipflask gift set, and for my husband, I bought mr and mrs disney tops.

Clothing:
I bought an incredible personalised denim jacket from KaylesKeepsakes which I wore for my virtual hen do, the morning of and after our wedding, on our honeymoon, and plan on wearing to my actual hen do (which will happen almost a year after our wedding day!) And my husband said I wouldn’t wear it enough to warrant the price!
Also, I personalised my wedding day converse with decals from PCCstoreUK

Finally, when our wedding day was forecast for rain (which actually turned out to be the wettest day since records began!) I finished with a last minute order for this massive umbrella from Meena Print.

Apologies for this being a very link heavy post, however I wanted to share the large number of small businesses that helped us build our wedding day. Please comment any small businesses below that helped you for your wedding day.
